What I do

Five things, and what's in each one

Most contractors start with the website and the Google profile. The rest is there when you want more.

Website Design

A site built to get calls, not to win a design award. Fast on a phone, a page for every service and every town, and the number where a thumb can reach it.

Built for you

No template. I write the pages around the jobs you want more of and the towns you want them in.

Fast on a phone

Most of your customers will never see the site on a computer. Every page loads in about a second on a cell signal.

A page per service, per town

"Roof repair Schenectady" is its own search. It gets its own page. That's how you show up for it.

Tap to call, tap to text

The number opens the dialer. The form is short. Both come straight to you.

Photos of your work

Your photos, sized right. No stock pictures of a smiling man in a hard hat who has never held a hammer.

Search set up right

Titles, descriptions, sitemap, structured data and speed. The things Google checks before it decides where you land.

Hosting and updates

I host it, back it up and keep it patched. Need a line changed? Email me. Small updates are free.

You own all of it

The domain, the site and the files are yours. If we ever part ways, they go with you.

Google Business Profile

The map listing is where most local calls come from now. I set it up right, fill in every service, and keep it fed with photos and posts.

Categories and services

The right primary category and every service you offer, spelled the way people search for it.

Photos that look like you

Job photos, trucks, the crew. Google shows profiles with real photos more often.

Reviews

A link you can text a customer from the driveway, and replies to every review, good or bad.

Posts and updates

A few posts a month keep the profile active. Active profiles rank higher.

Spam removal

Fake competitors and lead-gen listings in your area get reported. That alone can move you up.

Monthly numbers

Calls, direction requests and site clicks from the profile, in one short email every month.

Local SEO

Ranking for the searches that bring jobs in your service area. Not "traffic". Calls.

Keyword research

The searches people in your towns actually type, with how many and how hard each is to win.

Service and town pages

New pages for the services and towns you don't rank for yet, written to read like you.

Technical fixes

Speed, broken links, missing titles, the mobile stuff. Fixed, not reported on.

Citations

Your name, address and phone made to match everywhere they appear online.

Rank tracking

Where you rank for every keyword we target, checked every day, on a page you can open any time.

Lead Tracking

A private page that shows every call and every form your site and profile bring in. You never have to wonder if any of this is working.

Every form

Each form submission, with what they typed and when, in one list.

Every call

A tracking number that forwards to your cell and logs each call with the source.

Where it came from

Google search, the map listing, an ad, or a referral. Per lead.

Your rankings

The same page shows where you rank for each keyword, updated daily.

Shared with you

It's your data. You get a link that works on your phone.

FAQ

Questions people ask

What does a website cost?

It depends on how many services and towns you want pages for. You get a written price before anything starts, and it's on the pricing page in plain ranges. Half to start, half when you've seen the finished site and said yes.

How long does it take?

Most sites are live in two to three weeks. The slow part is usually photos and answers from you, so I ask for those first.

Who owns the site?

You do. The domain, the site and the files. If you leave, everything goes with you and I'll help you move it.

Is there a contract?

The build has a written price and a scope. Hosting and updates are month to month. You can stop any time.

Can you fix my current site instead?

Sometimes. Send me the address. If a few fixes will do it, I'll say so. If it's a rebuild, I'll say that too, and why.

Prices are on the page. No form needed to read them.
